Key Information

We can now offer the facility to pay online for trips, dinners and music lessons. Use the link below to access the site.

School meals are cooked on site by Hampshire Caterers HC3S. The menu offers
children two options daily: a Red Option (meat) and a Green Option (vegetarian). In the summer term Children have the additional option of a Blue Option which is a packed lunch to take outside.

Year R, 1 & 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
For Year 3 to 6 meals cost £2.00 per day.

Children order their meal daily in the morning in the classroom. Parents are asked to send dinner money into school via the book bags in a clearly marked envelope on a Monday morning or pay online.

Children are more than welcome to bring a packed lunch if they would prefer. Please consider our status as a healthy school when putting together packed lunches as we encourage the children to have a balanced healthy lunch.
Our school is a nut free school, so please ensure packed lunches do not contain nuts. We also have pupils in school with food allergies, so could you please explain to your child that they must not share their lunch.
If you think that you may be entitled to Free School Meals, please contact the school office or look at the information/links below.

HC3S offer the children a morning tuck shop where they can buy a healthy snack.
Children are responsible for their own money for tuck and require no more than £1.00 a day. Children are also equally entitled to bring in a healthy snack from home for morning break time.

If your child has suffered a sickness or tummy bug, they should be 48hrs clear of any symptoms before returning to school. We are able to administer prescribed medication. Please bring medication to the school office and complete a consent form. If your child bumps their head during the school day, a Bumped Head Record Sheet will be sent home via their bookbag. If a plaster has been applied at school, it is recommended this be removed and the cut/graze be cleaned at home the same day.

New children will be given a water bottle on their first day. Children are encouraged to have a water bottle in school at all times. Water bottles can be purchased at the school office for 30p.

New children will be given a book bag on their first day. Children should bring their book bag into school everyday.
Replacement book bags can be purchased from the school office at a cost of £3.

If the children are brought to school by car then the car park at the rear of the
Community Centre (entrance in Mill Street) should be used and the children can then come to and from school by use of the footpath. On no account should the lay-by be used for parking or dropping off children. This of course, does not apply to those children who come by taxi.

If you have any difficulty in providing your child with essential items of clothing or footwear for physical education, a limited amount of financial assistance may be available, depending upon your income. For further details, please enquire at the Havant Area Education Office.

Legislation changed in September 2013 on Leave of absence from school for the purposes of a family holiday. Please see the link to the form below.

We offer a Before School Club from 8.10am - 8.40am at a cost of £2.00 per day. (Please note we do not provide breakfast)

Following the Freedom of Information Act, all school documents are available on
request from the school office. A small fee may be levied for larger documents.

We expect that if you have any problems or complaints, these can be resolved through informal discussion with the class teacher or the Headteacher. Should this not be the case, there is a formal procedure for the consideration of complaints which the Headteacher will explain to you.
