Year 4 Residential Trip to Stubbington Study Centre
Stubbington Study Centre is an excellent facility which provides children with an opportunity to study their local environment, experience team building activities (like assault course and den building), visit the seashore and, if we are lucky enough, to see wildlife such as badgers, foxes, owls and mice in the wild. The trip runs from Monday - Friday. The children will stay at the centre for four nights and be collected at lunchtime on the Friday, by their parents.
Stubbington Study Centre hold a number of Open Days throughout the year to allow pupils & parents to visit the centre before the trip. Click on the link below to visit the Stubbington Study Centre website for more information about the activities your child will enjoy on the trip.
Year 6 Residential Trip to Avon Tyrell
Avon Tyrell is a leading outdoor learning venue in the heart of the New Forest National Park which is dedicated to the development of young people. Children will have adventures that help them realise their potential and leave them with incredible memories. Through an extensive range of adventurous outdoor learning activities, all children will be recognised and rewarded for their achievements made outside the classroom, providing the opportunity for everyone to ‘Experience, Learn and Develop’.
Avon Tyrell has a very unique and beautiful site with a Grade I listed calendar house, camping and lodges offering a special experience for all. From flying down our zip wire to discovering the impact we have on our outdoor environment there is so much to see and do. Titchfield Primary School are excited to have developed a bespoke 'Spy Camp' package alongside Avon Tyrell which will enhance the children's learning at the start of Year 6.
