Titchfield Primary School

Volunteer with us

We welcome parents/carers and students to volunteer at Titchfield Primary School to support our pupils. Volunteering is a rewarding experience and benefits the whole school community.


People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons.

  • For many it offers opportunities to give something back to the community.
  • For some it may provide an opportunity to develop new skills.
  • For others it is a requirement of a course. 


The work carried out by volunteers could come in the form of helping in the classroom, at a fundraising event or during an educational visit. 


Volunteers may help with any of the following:

  • Listening to children read
  • Supporting individual pupils
  • Supporting groups of children in all curriculum areas


For the safety of all children, volunteers will be subject to a DBS check. 


Before being accepted as a volunteer at Titchfield Primary School, you will be required to

  • complete the following forms found below:
    • Volunteer Expression of Interest Form
      • Next of Kin Form
  • Meet with Mr Olway the Deputy Headteacher.
  • Be acquainted with school procedures (Safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour procedures).
  • Apply for a DBS.
