Year 2 Venus
The Evil Pea project
In year 2 we have been focusing on the story of the evil pea. We were sent a letter from the evil pea asking us at Venus class if we would design the perfect getaway car for him to escape from supertato! We have learnt about instruction writing and lists in English, to building up to writing our own story of what happens when Evil Pea finally decides to plan his perfect escape in his getaway car! We learnt about materials in science and useful properties of these and this then allowed us to build judgement on the best materials and features to build into our getaway cars which we designed and make in our design technology lessons! The children have had lots of fun with lots of imaginative great ideas.
