Our School Behaviour Expectations - The Titchfield Way
At Titchfield, we have clear expectations for behaviour that support a calm, safe, and purposeful learning environment. We expect all children to behave respectfully and in ways that enable everyone to learn.
Children are supported through calm, consistent boundaries and routines, with adjustments made for individual needs when necessary. We aim to ensure that behaviour does not negatively impact the learning, safety, or wellbeing of others. If behaviour disrupts, we take prompt and fair action, ensuring consequences and support to help all involved learn and move forward.
These expectations are underpinned by The Titchfield Way, which focuses on everyday behaviour. At the start of each year, teachers explain and model these expectations, ensuring they are age-appropriate while maintaining consistency across the school.
